The Manager, Human Resources is responsible for leading a team of HR partners who support managers in all areas throughout the HR lifecycle including talent development, employee engagement, employee relations, performance management and retention. HR Partners are responsible for helping leaders make business decisions. This team partners with managers to help build and sustain high performing and engaged teams. This position supports the integration of cultural alignment to business strategies, company values, policies and procedures, the Manager, Human Resources promotes HR best practices, while maintaining a great place to work in step with policy and legislative requirements.

This is a unique opportunity to join a fast growing team and build the HR practice and function across the LATAM region. We need a multi-country expert to build effective relationships, apply and locally adopt HR best practices, ensure legal compliance and build the HR department across the LATAM region from the ground up.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing coaching to direct reports and for all escalations within assigned region.
  • Act as the strategic business partner between the business and the HR function, covering multiple countries. Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees to ensure consistent application and integration of policies, procedures and practices at 100% compliance to promote an ethical and compliant work environment.
  • Recommend new approaches, policies and procedures which align to business goals, to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of HR within the company.
  • Successfully monitor the "pulse" of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement.
  • Administer all HR policies for the region. Ensures adherence and alignment to corporate policies/strategies.
  • Responsible for ensuring legal compliance in all countries across the HR Lifecycle.
  • Provide employees and managers with an available first point of contact for questions and guidance on fundamental HR topics and issues.
  • Ensure that all employee relations issues are properly identified, reported & resolved.
  • Maintain and protect confidential data with utmost scrutiny, judgment, and care.
  • Develop and monitor team’s budget.
  • Conducts and guides team to conduct thorough internal investigations as needed.
  • Facilitate group processes and enable and encourage employee involvement, problem solving, targets and best practices concepts.
  • Awareness, understanding and implementation of HR related quality compliance guidelines, work instructions, and/or procedures.
  • Assist in identifying training needs and ensure that personnel are trained adequately to perform their assigned responsibilities.
  • Responsible for standing up SOPs, company HR best practices and processes across region.
  • Responsible for standing up benefits for each country and partnering with benefits team to ensure alignment to global strategy.
  • All other duties as assigned.

This is a Hybrid position. 4 days at the office and 1 day home office

Requisitos

  • 8+ years’ experience in a business partner role.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience.
  • 6-8+ years’ experience managing risk, applying employment law practices, and building highly engaged teams in at least 3+ of the following countries:
  • Fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
  • Proven success building an HR department across the LATAM region.
  • Availability to travel around LATAM
  • The candidate must live in Sao Paulo, Brazil
