POSITION MISSION:
The mission of the Cost and Inventory Manager is to coordinate cost-related activities, develop and organize cost systems, oversee cost analysis, and provide monthly reports on product profitability and inventories.


MAIN DUTIES:
Design a Cost Control System: Develop a system to monitor and control costs effectively.
Visit Branches and Airport Concessions: Inspect products, check expiration dates, monitor inventory turnover, and compare data with system records to ensure accuracy.

The role is crucial in solving daily problems and offering innovative solutions that contribute to the business's profitability.


SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Cost and Inventory Manager is responsible for ensuring accurate and reliable product cost estimation. They will follow the guidelines set by the General Management of Administration and Finance to guarantee data that informs decision-making and helps ensure the company meets its profit goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Recording and Evaluating Costs: Record and account for raw material costs and inventory valuations.
  • Establishing Cost Systems: Set up systems to monitor inventory values and variations between budgeted and actual costs.
  • Physical Inventory Checks: Oversee physical inventory counts in Carl’s Jr. restaurants and airport concessions.
  • Maintaining Databases: Update and maintain databases for both companies.


This position is based at St. Marteen (Caribbean). The candidate must relocated in this location

Requisitos

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Level: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Accounting, Audit, or Finance.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years in similar positions is required.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
Inventory Software: Knowledge of inventory management software.
Microsoft Excel: Advanced proficiency is required.
