SR Software Engineer Netsuite

Participate in projects in Brazil and abroad, Europe, as part of multicultural teams.

Requisitos

Mandatory Requirements:

Experience & Seniority

• 5+ years of professional software development experience

Technical Stack

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript
• Solid backend experience with Node.js
• Frontend experience with React
• Database expertise:
  • Relational: MySQL (or equivalent)
  • Non-relational: MongoDB (or equivalent)
• Experience with ORM/ODM tools (Sequelize, Mongoose, similar)
• Hands-on experience with Docker
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and system integrations
• Familiarity with ERP or business systems (NetSuite preferred)

Engineering Practices

• Experience writing and maintaining:
  • Unit tests
  • Integration tests
• Knowledge of testing frameworks (Mocha, Chai, Jest, RTL, or similar)
• Comfortable with code reviews, refactoring, and enforcing standards
• Understanding of software architecture and scalable system design

Business & Product Awareness

• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Experience working on systems tied to finance, operations, or enterprise workflows
• Pragmatic decision-making (trade-offs between time, quality, and risk)

Communication & Collaboration

• Advanced English (written and spoken)
• Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working in cross-functional or client-facing environments
• Mentoring mindset toward junior developers
