We are looking for an Electrical Substation Design Engineer to join a leading digital energy solutions company. This role will be responsible for designing and supporting substation projects, ensuring technical excellence, compliance with industry standards, and successful project execution.

Responsabilities

• Design electrical substations, including layout, equipment selection, and Protection & Control systems
• Develop and review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
• Support project planning, schedules, and execution to meet deadlines and budget
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to align project requirements
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations
• Provide technical support during procurement, construction, and commissioning phases
• Identify risks and support problem-solving during project execution

Requisitos

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of experience in electrical substation design
• Strong knowledge of substation engineering, equipment, and Protection & Control systems
• Experience with tools such as AutoCAD, ETAP, PrimTECH, or PLS-CADD
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
• Experience working with utilities or EPC companies
• Exposure to medium and high-voltage substation projects
• Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred but not required)
• Applicants must be authorized in the United States
